As General Manager of Indaco Alys Beach, Elizabeth Mathis leads with a passion for hospitality, pairing a people-first leadership style with a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences. Drawn to the hospitality industry by the relationships it helps foster, Elizabeth believes in the power of bringing people together around the table.
After earning her bachelor’s degree at Belmont University in Nashville, Mathis spent the past decade building her career in the city’s hospitality industry, developing strong teams and creating welcoming environments for both guests and employees. At Indaco, she is focused on cultivating a culture centered on genuine hospitality and a shared commitment to excellence, reflecting the values that define The Indigo Road Hospitality Group.
Originally from Marianna, Florida, Mathis maintains a deep appreciation for the Florida Panhandle and the communities that make the region unique. Having watched the area evolve over the years, she continues to draw inspiration from the energy surrounding Alys Beach and the broader 30A community. Through her work at Indaco, Mathis is dedicated to cementing the restaurant as a gathering place for both locals and visitors, creating a welcoming experience that keeps guests returning time and time again.
Outside of the restaurant, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and embracing the opportunity to be back in the region she has long considered home.
